Employees Enjoy Feeding and Socializing with USD 446 Employees & Independence City Employees

8/16/16
Commercial Bank employees enjoyed the opportunity to say thank you to our Independence USD 446 school staff members for their hard work and dedication by providing lunch during back-to-school week 2016. Employees from multiple Commercial Bank branches pitched in by cooking and serving. In addition to lunch, there was a drawing for several Commercial Bank RTIC cups, as a small token of appreciation. It was a great turn out and after feeding all of the school staff there was still enough food to share with the Independence City Employees. Being able to show our appreciation to some of the members of the community that are in the business of serving others daily made it a feel good day for all involved.

Commercial Bank Independence and Commercial Insurance Agency LOVE Independence

4/30/16
Employees of Commercial Bank and Commercial Insurance Agency partnered to celebrate "Love Independence" day on April 30th. The goal of the day was to better the community in some way and was sponsored by the Independence Chamber of Commerce. One group of employees did this by handing out granola bars and water in the drive-thru and around town to other volunteers and community members. Another group participated by lending their time and skills to "Shoes for Kids" by handing out approximately 160 pairs of shoes to local children! It was a feel good day for everyone that volunteered and it was incredible to see how other members of the community pitched in to help better the community as well.

Employees are looking forward to finding ways to help the community during "Love Independence" 2017.

Commercial Bank Coffeyville Participates in Boots and BBQ Festival

4/23/16
Commercial Bank employees got out and about on Saturday to enjoy the Boots and BBQ Festival in downtown Coffeyville. There was an inflatable obstacle course team challenge and the ladies from Coffeyville stood out in their tie-die to participate. A couple of employees even got to take out their frustrations on each other in a jousting challenge. Unfortunately, they didn't take home any medals, but we think they deserve a gold for their hard work and dedication!

Tell the Coffeyville branch that you saw their picture online next time you pay them a visit!

Commercial Bank Independence Plants "Pinwheel Garden"

4/4/16
Commercial Bank employees in Independence joined forces with the Kansas Children's Service League to plant blue pinwheels on the front lawn to help raise awareness for child abuse prevention. The Kansas Children's Service League promotes April as Child Abuse Prevention Month and plants the pinwheels around town to give everyone a visual reminder of this important cause. Employees were excited to participate and take some time to dig in the dirt, they even wore gardening gloves as a way to have a little fun while showing their support.

If you are driving by on Pennsylvanie Avenue make sure to check out the spinning garden by the front doors!

Commercial Bank Parsons Enjoys Weekend at Parsons Home Show

4/1/16-4/2/16
Commercial Bank employees in Parsons enjoyed getting out in the community and mingling with Parsons Home Show goers the first beautiful weekend in April. There was a great turn out this year with the show being completely sold out. Bank employees stayed busy handing out gifts and collecting entries for a cash giveaway. Four lucky recipients have been notified that they won $50!

We hope everyone that attended enjoyed the Home Show as much as we did, and if you couldn't make it this year we hope to see you next year!
